Word Processing

I'm still unsure of how exactly I can use this with the kids in my class. I plan to teach Kindergarten, and these kids don't entirely know how to write with a paper and pencil. Dealing with typing and the issues it brings with it (inability to type fluently, inability to spell correctly (kids should be able to spell creatively for the first few years of writing)) is, in my mind, too much for a brain that undeveloped to deal with. That said, I can see how I would use it for the kids. I like the revision style of Google docs, and I could easily see myself using that for the kids. Older children could use word processing and learn a great deal from it. I'm pretty sure I will use Word to write many newsletters and all sorts of handouts for my classes, but the kids I want to work with are too little to really do much with (or learn much from) word processing because their own little word processors in their brains are not fully myelinated yet. The end.
