WebQuests

A couple of ideas I have for my own WebQuest right now are: changing seasons or musical symbols and what they mean.
For changing seasons, students would learn about the behavior of animals during different seasons. Students would break into groups of 4 and choose what type of animal they want to research. (options could be: bears, birds, mice, etc.) Students would each investigate a particular season, and what their particular animal does during that season.
For musical symbols, there could be a catastrophe in which the musical symbol "box" fell on the floor and now the symbols mean the wrong thing. Students would investigate musical symbols, and match the symbol with its meaning. Following the WebQuest, students could either make a poster about the symbols, or have a large group activity in which students would create the types of sound indicated by each symbol on command.
I still have a lot to think about, but WebQuests seem pretty fun and very useful.
